MEANING

Ụtọ m is an Igbo word which has variety of meanings. It could be used to refer to inanimate things, but when it is used in describing a loved one, it speaks volume and means a lot. Whatever is a tasty and sweet act as an attractant. It attracts and preserves. It satisfies and fills the lover that he/she seeks for more and more. For anything to be sweet, it must be an embodiment of sweetness in itself. A feeling of enjoyment, delight, entertainment, enthrallment, fondness and pleasure accompanies sweetness. Obi Ụtọ m also means ‘my happiness’.

Ụtọ m is a pet name used for an individual who is full of vigor, gladness and  substance. One who is pleasurable, warm, delightful, a darling, a sweetheart, fun-filled, a radiator of love, regarded as a favorite, special, precious and favored.
